Isolation For First Time
Cleveland (Ohio), Sept. 10. The first isolation of pro-actlnium. the rarest metal known, and worth 1,000,000 dollars an ounce, was announced on Monday by the American Chemical Society. The metal is silvery in appearance and is radio-active, giving off rays more penetrating than that of radium
