SHIPMENT OF ORANGES
11,000 Cases on Wanganella WILL MEET BARE MARKET ’ _ 9 Dominion Special Service. Auckland, September 11. Eleven thousand cases of South Australian oranges are on board the Wanganella, which is duo to arrive at Auckland from Sydney to-morrow morning. This is the largest shipment to be brought from South Aus--4 triilia for any one north Island port, although larger consignments have arrived at Wellington for distribution in both Islands. The- Shipment arriving by the Wanganella comprises mostly navel oranges.
At tho present time the orange market Is bare, the last of tho wholesale stocks having boon cleared from stores some days ago. No further shipments of oranges from South Australia arc in Sight. , , .
