Defeat Horowhenua FOUR GOALS TO NIL Dominion Special Service. Otalu, August 22. In the third game of their tour the Australian hockey representatives defeated Horowhenua here this afternoon by 4 goals to nil. The. match was more oven than the score indicates. After tlie heavy rain of Tuesday the ground in the Otaki Domain was greasy. Horowhenua attacked first, but were ruled offside. Australia replied with a left-wing move, led by Milner, who transferred in the circle for Peunmn, the centre-forward, to goal a stiff shot. Milner then found the net, but the ball was shot from outside the circle. Australia broke away again, but Broughton, the full-back, broke up the assault. Watson, the Australian goalie, saved brilliantly from Morgan. The first 10 minutes was Australia’s. Several of the Australian representatives had travelled hundreds of miles from outback to join the team.
