Wellington Branch Meets ELECTION OF OFFICERS “The co-operation of everyone is needed at this time when war appears imminent,” stated the report presented to the annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the League of Nations Union last evening. Mr. P. J. O’Regan presided. The election of officers resulted as follows-President, Mr. P. J. O’Regan; vice-presidents, Mrs. J. Henderson, Mrs. J. C. Andersen, Mr. W. B. Matheson ; council, His Grace Archbishop O’Shea, Rev. Canon P. James, Rev. J. R. Blanchard, Rev. W. S. Rollings, Mr. E. Boocock, Mr. R. S. Maunder, Mr. W. B. Oliver, Mrs. E. AIsrael, Mrs. A. Longmore, Professor H. H. Cornish, Dr. J. H. Beaumont, Mrs. E. Maslen, Mrs. J. O’Leary, Mrs. C. H. Seville, Mrs. L. S. Watson, Miss A. Kane, Nelson, Miss Stiles, Miss Morgan; hon. auditor, Mr. D. Colquhoun; secretary, Miss M. E. P. Ahern. A motion of sympathy with Dr. J. Gibb in his illness was passed, and the hope was expressed that he would make a speedy recovery.
