PARISHIONERS MEET

Kelburn Anglican Church The annual meeting of parishioners of St. M'chael and All Angels' Church. Kelbiir,i). last night was attended by IdO people, and discussion of the affairs of the parish extended to after 11 p.m. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Vicar’s warden. Mr. F. E. Greenish: people’s warden. Mr. 11. E. Evans: vestrymen. Messrs. FI. L. P. Smith. E. J. Parr. G. C. Edwards. F. S. Robins. H. M, Bannister. A. T. Craven, H. B. Burdekin (re-elected). G. W. Morgan (re-elected). 11. J. Murdoch (re-elected) ami W. L. Low (reelected) : lion. auditors. Messrs. T. Mark and G. K. Moir. A vote of confidence in the vicar. Rev. G. F. Petrie, was passed. The report of the church warden and vestry stated that, although the year bad not been successful finaneiallv. nearly all charges had been met. The year ended with one month’* assessment for stipend in arrear. The general offertories amounted to 1317 against £322 the previous year Church attendances had been maintained. esnccinllv among the voting people. The coming year would call for renewed efforts to improve the financial position of the parish.
