Mrs. Brunton Williams, Seatoun, gave a very enjoyable party last week for her nieces, Misses Vera Crawley and Sheila Feltham, of Raetihi, who are on a visit'to Wellington. Professor von Zedlitz and Jlrs. von Zedlitz, Lower Hutt, and Mr. and Jlrs. A. Duncan, Lower Hutt, visited Feilding and 'Wanganui at the week-end to play contract bridge. At Wanganui their opponents were Dr. F. Hutchinson, Messrs. H. G. Carver, H. E. B. Newton, and. F. Jacobs.
