Gisborne Sale • Dominion Special Service. Gisborne,. May 5. At the Gisborne sale there were very few fat sheep and no change in prices. Ewes, 15/-; lambs, 13/6 to 17/3; second grade ewes, 11/2 to 12/6. Stores; The entry from Turihau Station of ewes running to Southdown rams was bought for the Waikato and sold under keen competition. prices being: Five-year, 18/1; 4-ycar, 19/6; 4 and 6-tooths, 21/-; other values, s.m., 15/6; empty forward. 10/-; lambs, best woolly shorn, 14/-; good. 12/- to 13/-; wethers, good forward, 17/6. Pigs met a poor demand and easier prices. Weaners, 6/- to 8/-; small stores, 12/- to 14/6; slips, 12/3 to 13/-. Feilding Sale Prices A heavy yarding of fat sheep and a full yarding of stores barely maintained late rates at the Feilding stock sale oh Friday. Dairy and fat cattle sold better than at the previous sale.
