OLD PARISH VISITED
English Vicar on Tour Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, May 5. A former vicar of All Saints’ Anglican Church, Palmerston North, the Rev. C. C. Harper, is visiting the city after an absence of 20 years, during which period he has been abroad. The Rev. C. C. Harper is now vicar of Eord, Northumberland, a position he has held since 1922. The Rev. Harper will confer with the Bishop of Melanesia and the finance board of the Melanesian Mission on behalf of the mission’s English committee, of which he is a member. The Rev. Harper and Mrs. Harper are the guests of Mrs. A. E. Russell, - of “Whararata,” Eitzherhert.
