TANKER INDUSTRY
Effort at Rationalisation (British Official Wireless.) (Received May 6, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 4. A decision to put into operation from to-day a scheme for an international pool for oil tankers has been taken by the Council of the International Tanker Owners’ Association, which has been meeting in London this week. Tire scheme represents an attempt to rationalise the tanker industry, and discussions on it have lasted some months.
