MIRACLE REPORTED
Blood Flows From Crucifix London, March 7. The correspondent of the “Daily Mall” at Rome states that thousands of people are flocking to pray at a monastery at Asti (Italy), where, it is claimed, the figure of Christ on a small crucifix twice in 1933 came to life, and blood trickled from a wound which opened in the figure’s side. The Diocesan Ecclesiastical -Tribunal vouches for the miracle, declaring that it had not been announced previously, as it had decided to investigate all the circumstances. Chemical analysis showed the blood to be human.
