Border of Manchukuo JAPAN SENDS TROOPS (Received March 16, 11.45 p.m.) London, March 16. The Peking correspondent of “The Times” states that an uneasy situation again prevails in eastern Charhar, over the Chinese border from Manchukuo, wher.e the Japanese, in addition to sending troops to reinforce those already stationed in the Kuyuan district k have transported large quantities of military supplies from Jehol during the past few days.
Consequently General Sun Cheh Yuan, Chairman of Charhar, is coming to Peking to a conference with the Chinese military authorities. It .is generally expected that the sequel to Pu Yi’s enthronement will be that the Japane.se will attempt to bring inner Mongolia into the so-called ManchukuoTokio fold.
