BUNNY BROWN AND THE BIG BAD FOX.
Bunny Brown lived in a hole on the top of a hill. One morning he woke up early while Mother Bunny anjj Daddy Bunny were still asleep. Then he crept out very quietly and ran down the hill. His mother had told him never to go down the hill by himself. At the bottom he met a very smart gentleman with a beautiful tail. “Come for a walk, little rabbit.” said the gentleman. And Bunny Brown went. He didn’t know that the gentleman was Mr. Fox.
Presently they came to Mr. Fox’s house, and Mr. Fox took Bunny inside. •'Put on the pot,” he said to Mrs. Fox. Then he popped Bunny into his pantry and locked the door. Bunny kicked on the door. life squeaked, and he screeched; and he screamed. But nobody cume.
Presently Mr. and Mrs. Brown Babbit woke up. “Wherever is Bunny?” they cried. They ran out to look for him, and down the hill, and then they heard somebody squeaking, “Let’ me out! Let me out!”
