Theft of Jewellery Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, March 16. Charged with stealing jewellery valued at £95 from the dwelling of Maurice Millar, in Amesbury Street, Palmerston North, on March 9, William Wallace Clifford, labourer, aged 25, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. A remand until next Tuesclay was granted. Accused was also charged with stealing a purse and £2/3/- in money from the residence of S. G. Berry on March 12, and was remanded until Tuesday next, PALMERSTON NEWS Reeves-Luttrell Fight Off Palmarston North, March 16. As a result of Harold Reeves receiving an injury to his head, the Manawatu Boxing Association has been obliged to call off the bout which was to have been fought lit, Palmerston North on March 31 between Reeves and V. Waters, Harold George Newbury, labourer, aged 34, was admitted to a year's probation by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Police Court this morning.
