JAPAN BUYS TOFUA
Vessel to be Scrapped By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, February 2. After being idle in Auckland Harbour for nearly two years, the Union Steam Ship Company’s Island steamer’Tofan has been sold to Japanese buyers. The vessel is to go to Japan to be dismantled for scrap metal.
