CAMPED NEAR RIVER
Evicted Relief Worker Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, February 2. The two marquees erected by Mr. Edward John Read, the relief worker who was evicted from his house on Somme Parade yesterday’, were a centre of interest for many passers-by- today. Many made special visits out of curiosity. Painted signs arc displayed prominently, and the whole has the appearance of a sideshow at a garden fete. It is expected that the civic authorities will take steps to have the abode removed.
