OBITUARY
Dr. Albert M. Lythgoe New York, January 29. Dr. Albert v . Lythgoe, the noted Egyptologist, who was present at the opening of the inner chamber of King Tutankhamen’s tomb in 1923. died on .Monday at Boston. The legend of “The Pharaohs' cursej’ was revived in Boston on January 25, when it was revealed that Mr. Albert Lythgoe, curator emeritus of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, was in hospital here suffering from a baffling malady. A Loudon message, dated January 3, staled that the death had occurred of Mr. Arthur Weigall aged 63. Hie Egyptologist following a mysterious illness of six months. The “Daily Mail" remarked upon the coincidence of the number ot deaths of those present at the opening of Tutankhamen’s tomb.
