Miss Joy Peacock Honoured
A delightful party was" given the other evening at Miss Joan . Benge’s studio for Miss Joy Peacock, who will leave to-day for- Sydney, where her marriage, is to take .place-at at) early date. The studio was gaily decorated and a most enjoyable evening was spent in dancing and competitions. Many good wishes were given to the bride-elect. There were songs by Miss Joy Peacock and Mr. A. Haley, and extras . were played by Misses R. Chapman, N. Boesly, and B. Goodwin. A dainty gavotte by two of Miss Benge’s pupils was another delightful item of the programme. Among those present were Mrs. T. Benge, Mrs. A. Shackeldon, Misses B. Peacock, N. Hewitt, M. Newport, B. Davidson, V. Boesly, B. Goodwin, M. and J. Mayer, M. Kilby, R. Chapman, G.-Dutton, Messrs. Simons, Page; Gooder( Haley, Patterson, Ball, Ironmonger, Lawrence, Gill, Newman, Turnbull.
