HOLIDAY HINTS
Silk dresses should be hung over the edge of a table so that they fall into their natural folds, first placing the shoulders .together with the front outwards. Put a piece of tissue paper on the top and draw the dress a little towards you, then fold over. Repeat this until the dress is folded to the size of your case. : . ■ , .?;
Tailored coats pack , neatly if you turn up the'collar and fold the fronts to the side seams. Sleeves are placed diagonally, pointing upwards, and tissue paper put in the shoulder folds. Turn up from the bottom, but be careful not to have the pockets in the fold. Overcoats are folded with the sleeves across, but pointing downwards. Flared frocks and skirts can be unpacked ready to put Qn if: tissue paper is placed between each .fold of the flare when packing.. Spread out the dress and fold the flare to the centre, then again on to itself. Repeat this for the other side and fold the dress from the top. Blouses are an important item in this summer’s holiday trunk. Put each one front downwards on a table and cover with tissue paper. Fold the sides towards tlie centre, keeping the sleeves straight. Insert some more tissue paper and fold the blouse in half or three according to requirements.
