The fact that a radio broadcasting station can sometimes be -located by a receiving set in two places in the frequency spectrum was discovered by a listener at New Plymouth the other day. Recent changes in station arrangements and frequencies fresh in his mind, he immediately connected one with the other. An expert explained, however, that the thing was by no means the result of any change. The frequency for the second dial position was a harmonic, being exactly double the first frequency.
Coins made of an alloy of cliron” .... and nickel, which is non-corrosive, may be tried bv at least two foreign Powers. Such coins, it is claimed, would be very clean to handle.
