MIRAMAR GARDENS
Association to Hold Show
The Miramar and Eastern Suburbs Horticultural Association, at a meeting this week, decided to hold a mid-summer show, in which gladioli and carnations would be specialties. The monthly competition resulted as follows:—-Plate of cakes, Mrs. Clark. 1; Mrs. Robertson, 2; Mrs. Griffin, 3. Plate of scones, Mrs. Griffiths, 1; Mrs. Deane, 2; Mrs. Roger. 3. Vase of flowers, Mrs. Jones, 1. The gardens were judged for the first time on Saturday, and the pudges had a difficult task.
