Last year. 10,251 wrecked or worn-oat motor-curs were abandoned by their owners in the streets of New York City —an average of one every 51 minutes. Only five per cent, of the troops engaged in tlie recent British Army manoeuvres were beer-drinkers, ten and lemonade being the favourite beverages.
