Sydney, December .12. ■ Cessnock received its third severe blow when the Bellbird colliery closed one tunnel, rendering 250 men idleSlackness of trade is the reason given for the dismissals. Kight hundred men from the Paxton and Aberdare Extended mines lost their jobs in the last few weeks when those mines ceased operations.
