FAREWELL PARTY
Plunket Society Nurse The Kelburn,-Karori and Wadestown Plunket Committees combined to give a farewell party .in the Karori Parish Hall on Monday afternoon for Nurse Miller.The hall was beautifully decorated with lupins, roses and Iceland popples, and the guest of honour was welcomed by Mrs. Tythe Brown, president of. the Wellington. Plunket Society. Miss Ward, secretary, Mrs. Jack, president of the Karori branch, and Mrs. Ronaldson, who presented 'Nurse Miller with a cheque, Were also on the stage. There was a very happy gathering of mothers and children, and '-Nurse Miller was given a bouquet by a little girl..- Mrs. Spidy and Miss Irene'Spldy sang during the afterrioon.
