VERDICT OF SUICIDE
Inquest on Man Found Shot By Telegraph—Press Association. Hawera, December 1. A verdict of suicide while in a depressed state of mind caused by sickness aud worry was returned at the inquest on James Madge Westaway. draper, Hawera, who was found dead at tlie foot of a cliff close to Rawhitiroa Road. Eltham, on November 22 with a bullet wound in the roof of his mouth and a revolver beside bis body. Medical opinion was that suffering and ill-healbh, added to worry following a recent fire at deceased’s business premises, was ample cause of temporary derangement of the mind.
