Wanganui Night Meeting Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, December 1. The Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held their fourth evening meeting lust night, when five events were decided, some excellent fields being seen in action, with probably the largest number of competitors for evening meetings this season. Results of the various events are as follow:— 100 Yards (ladies) ; Miss E. Wrigley (Svds.i. 1; Miss M. Attwell (scr,), 2; Miss O. Ward (Iyd.). 3. Miss Attwell and Miss 'Ward fought out a good race, but were unable to make up all the leeway on Miss Wrigley. 120 Yards (men): E. Carveil (lyd.), 1; D. McElwain (scr.). 2; D. Farley, 3. One mile flat: A. Bourgeois (scr.). 1; L. Stephenson (35), 2: L. Burgess (10), 3. Quarter mile (cycle) : R. Orlowski (30 yds.), 1; W. Pidwell (30). 2; J. Casey (25), 3. A two-mile scratch cycle race (not for points) was held, A. Hansen winning.
