COLLEGE GARDEN PARTY
A garden party will be held in the grounds of Wellington Girls’ College. I’ipitea. Street, this afternoon. Au interesting programme has been arranged, commencing with an intercollege tennis match. There will also be Highland and folk dancing, figure marching, and a musical programme by the school orchestra. Afternoon tea will be in charge of the parents’ association under the direction of Mesdanies .McPhee, Hefford, and Urquhart. In adidtion there will be produce, sweets. Ice cream and Christmas gifts stalls as well as the ever popular bran tub and a parcels bureau. If the weather is unfavourable an indoor programme wilt be arranged.
The many people interested in the work of Ewart Hospital will have an opportunity to-morrow of showing their practical syspathy in time to help with the extra Christmas effort. A garden party has been arranged in the grounds, where stalls for' flowers, produce, knitted toys, and oilier articles will be found, aml where afternoon tea will be procurable. THE CARAVAN.
