Launch’s Road Journey

Gisborne, October 13.
A difficult transport feat is being performed to-day in the dispatch of the 16ft. launch Idalia, weighing five tons and a half, from Gisborne to Lake Waikaremoana.
The launch is mounted on a lorry and trailer specially constructed to negotiate the sharp bends of the mountain roads.
