Areas in England Suffer

Rugby, October 12.
Exceptionally heavy rains occurred on Tuesday night in the West and North of England and in the Midlands. In Brinsington two and a third inches —equivalent to an average month’s fall —were registered. In South Wales widespread damage was done by floods, and In the district around Swansea 500 homes and shops were flooded, and bridges were damaged.
