Reassembling Next Month

Rugby, October 12.
Parliament will reassemble on November 7 after the summer recess. The Unemployment Insurance Bill will be one of the first Government measures to be introduced, and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Minister of Labour, and the Minister of Health todqy met representatives of the Association of Municipal Corporations and County Council Associations to discuss details of the measure. The Government hopes the prorogation of Parliament will be possible about November 17, and a new session will begin a few dayo later.
