Miss Marjorie Bennie, Mount Street, will leave on Tuesday for a threeweeks’ visit to Rotorua. Miss B. Phear, Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mr. and Airs. C. N. Raine, Wanganui.

Mrs. Lionel Abraham, who has been the guest of Miss Sommerville, Glenmore Road, will return to Palmerston North to-day. Miss Gwen Nelson, Havelock North, who has been staying with Miss Sommerville, Glenmore Road, will leave for Wanganui to-day on her way home. Mrs. Poole and Miss Margaret Poole, Wanganui, were hostesses at an afternoon party given in honour of Miss B. Phear, Lower Hutt. Mrs. L. Price are Wanganui visitors to Hunterville for the opening of the Hunterville Croquet Club.

Mrs. Leslie McHardy, Waipawa, who with her daughters,- Mrs. L. H. Larner, Morrinsville, and Mrs. J.’ Kennedy, Puketapu, has been staying at the Midland Hotel, will motor to Waipawa today. Miss Lukins, of London, who arrived from England by the Tamaroa on Wednesday, is visiting Taupo and Rotorua. She will leave for Sydney from Wellington by the Maunganui on Tuesday next.
