Peyton, Wellington, is visiting .Auckland. Miss Agatha Bunny, Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mrs. Hatrick, ‘Wanganui. Miss A. E. Brewer, Gisborne, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. O. P. Horlick, of London, has arrived in Auckland from Wellington. Miss G. Morris, Wellington, is.visiting Auckland. Mrs. C. H. Mills, Blenheim, is the guest of Mrs. Vivian Donald,, Lansdowne, Masterton.

Miss Mary Lawrence, Wellington, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Irvine, Merivale, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. George Anyon, Island Bay, left by the Limited express for Rotorua last evening. Mrs. and Miss Cracroft Wilson, Raetihi, are in Wanganui for the ladies’ golf championship. Mrs. B. Allison, Dunedin, is visiting her mother, Airs. J. Blythe, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. Miss Marjorie Bennie, Mount Street, will leave on Tuesday for a threeweeks’ visit to Rotorua. Miss B. Phear, Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mr. and Airs. C. N. Raine, Wanganui.

Miss Nancy Hales and Miss Helen McGregor will leave Wanganui to-day for Rangiwabia. 1 Miss Marjorie Murie, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Beryl Jefferies, Feilding. Mrs. E. G. Kerr, Timaru, is the guest of Mrs. H. Ziesler, Wanganui, for the golf tournament.

Miss E. Wyett, Greytown, lias returned home after a short holiday spent in Wellington. Miss Chris. Hosking, Church Street, Masterton, who. has been on a visit to Christchurch, has returned home. Mrs. J. Ball, Brougham Street, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Frank Dea_n, of St. Heliers, Auckland. Misses Stuart-Forbes, Lower Hutt, are the guests of their sister, Mrs. T. Renwick, Dumgree, Marlborough. Airs. F. C. A’Court, Christchurch, is spending a fortnight’s holiday as the guest of Mrs. W. H. Ballinger, Kelburn Parade.

Mrs. Lionel Abraham, who has been the guest of Miss Sommerville, Glenmore Road, will return to Palmerston North to-day. Miss Gwen Nelson, Havelock North, who has been staying with Miss Sommerville, Glenmore Road, will leave for Wanganui to-day on her way home. Mrs. Poole and Miss Margaret Poole, Wanganui, were hostesses at an afternoon party given in honour of Miss B. Phear, Lower Hutt. Mrs. L. Nix, Church Street, Masterton, and her daughter, who have been visiting friends at Hukanui, have returned home. Mesdames A. Crawford and H. Price are Wanganui visitors to Hunterville for the opening of the Hunterville Croquet Club.

Miss K. Howe, Kilbirnie, who has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. B. Iveson, “Hedon,” Essex Street, Masterton, has returned home.

Mrs. Leslie McHardy, Waipawa, who with her daughters,- Mrs. L. H. Larner, Morrinsville, and Mrs. J.’ Kennedy, Puketapu, has been staying at the Midland Hotel, will motor to Waipawa today. Miss Lukins, of London, who arrived from England by the Tamaroa on Wednesday, is visiting Taupo and Rotorua. She will leave for Sydney from Wellington by the Maunganui on Tuesday next.
