MEMORIAL SUGGESTED
To Late Sir Joseph Ward
In reply to a question by the Hon. R. McCallum as to whether the Government did not consider that the time had arrived for the consideration of the erection of a suitable memorial to the late Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, and that suggestions be sought for the best method of perpetuating his memory, the Hon. R. Masters said at yesterday afternoon’s sitting of the Legislative Council that he had noted the suggestion and the matter would be considered by the Government.
