OFFICERS ELECTED

Hutt Cricket Association Fourteen clubs were represented at the annual meeting of the Hutt Valley Cricket Association, which was held in the Oddfellows’. Hall, Petone, on Thursday evening. Mr. Jowett presided. The annual report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. It was urged by Mr. Goldie that all clubs recognise the association as the Hutt Valley Cricket Association, and not the Hutt Valley Mercantile League. Mr. J. Luke resigned from the position of secretary-treasurer on account of a change of residence. The following officers were elected :— Patron, Mr. D. McKenzie; president, Mr. James Kerr; vice-presidents, Messrs. Olliver, Caley, W. Smith, A. Toombs, Coles, Ewart, Parrant, Nissen, Waddington, P. J. Mouring, J. Mathews, J. McHardy, and A. W. Grant; auditors, Messrs. H. Goldie and L. Baldwin; secretary-treasurer, Mr. S. Chesney; management committee, Messrs. H. Jones, J. Asplett, B. Cates, H. Goldie, A. Harding, J. May, L. Scott, A. Dibley and T. H. Carter.
