DOGS ON SHOW

Completion of Judging ADDITIONAL AWARDS The Wellington Keuiiel Club’s successful show at the Winter Show Building closed last night. A total of 314 dogs were on exhibition, the entries constituting a record. Although an early start had been made on Wednesday with the judging, it was not until yesterday morning that this was completed. There was a large number of visitors to the show yesterday, including his Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, the patron of the club, who made the presentation of the principal awards. The Paul Hunter Memorial Cup was won by Mr. W. M. Jack (Christchurch), with his wirehaired Fox Terrier Talavera Adonis, and Aulsebrook’s Cup for the best entrv of the opposite sex was awarded to Misses Christie and Parker (Oamaru), who showed their Cocker Spaniel bitch Stella Bowdler.
