NAVY LEAGUE DANCE

By advertisement in to-day’s issue the Wellington Navy League invites the members of the girls’ branch to call at the Navy League office to obtain their free tickets of admission to the sailors’ dances to be held in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Thursday, Friday, and Tuesday, September 21, 22, and 26, during the visit of the Australian Naval Squadron. These dances, which have been such a great success with former squadrons, are being very much looked forward to by the petty officers and men of H.M.A.S. Canberra, and H.M.A.S. Australia, and by the girls of the junior branch of the Navy League in Wellington. Early application is desirable. PLAN TO CHANGE DUTCH FLAG. A proposal is being made to change the colours of Holland’s national flag to orange, white and blue.
