END-OF-SEASON DANCE
Ladies’ Hockey Association In spite of the unpleasant weather the end-of-season dance given by the Wellington Ladies’ Hockey Association in the Pharmacy Hall last night proved most successful, members of various Wellington hockey teams being present in good numbers. The presentation of cups by Mr. Cusack, president of the Ladies’ Hockey Association, was a feature of the evening. The cups were awarded as follow: — Senior A, Swifts; senior B, Hospital; junior, Johnsonville; and third, Eastbourne. The energetic committee consisted of Misses T. Wind (who wore scarlet marocain), F. McDonald (black velvet), W. McTlgue (ametnyst organdie) , M. Ebertett (gold lace), T. McDonnell (black panne velvet), and A. Gleeson (black satin). Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Stone, Mrs. A. Laurie, Mrs. Barlow, Mr. and Mrs. Hopping, Mrs. McIndoe, Misses M. Leek, Park, McClelland, E. Tyree, R. McDonnell, M. Wilkins, B. Symons, E. Maclndoe, D. Nash, M. Slater, A. O’Brien, B. Davies, T. Tunley, E. Stiles, P. Foley, Messrs. T. Young, L. Downes, T. Crighton, F. Baker, R. McDonald, Park (2), L. Simons, S. B. Browne, C. White, R. Lloyd, Cooper, Winkley, Millen, Adams, Taylor.
