When cleaning a room, begin and end with the Hour, following this plan of action:— 1. Vacuum the right side of the carpet and roll up. 2. Clean walls and ceiling. 3. Clean paintwork, starting witli windows. 4. Furniture. 5. Floor. After scrubbing, thoroughly rub turpentine into the boards as a preventive against moth. Finally, put the carpet down wrong side uppermost, and vacuum it thoroughly on tlio wrong side before laying it in position and rearringing the room.
