CHARGES OF THEFT
Police Court Remands Several remands were granted by Mr. E. Page, S.M., In the Police Coutr yesterday morning. James Kerr Stewart, a shop assistant, aged 21, was charged with the theft of wireless parts valued at £5O from the Electric Lamp House, and again with the theft of parts worth £33 14/- from the same place. Remands were granted to Wednesday next on both charges, .and bail was renewed. A storeman, aged 21, Robert Edison Rooderkerk, was remanded to the same date and bail renewed on a charge of receiving from Stewart radio parts valued at £33/14/-, the property of the Electric Lamp House, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. Charged wtih the theft of tools valued at £24 from the Stewart Hardware Co., Neil Simpson was granted a remand and bail.
