Miss Rose Muir, Lady Superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital, has returned from a short visit to Wellington. Miss .Joan Ryan is a Wellington visitor for the Charity Ball in Wanganui, and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. O’Neill. Miss Amy Kane, who has been in Christchurch for the conference of Women’s Institutes, at which she presided, has returned to Wellington. .Miss Eileen Crawford left yesterday to stay with Mrs. Cotsford Burden, Canterbury, for the Grand National, and will go on later to Mount Cook. Miss Niven, world secretary of the Y.W.C.A., will arrive from the south this morning, and will be the guest of Mrs. Alex Lawson, Percival Street, during her stay in Wellington. Mrs. T. Warnock and Miss Warnock, Wanganui, were bridge hostesses on Saturday night in honour of Mr. and Mrs. F. T. A. Williams, who will leave shortly for Auckland.
