Miss Kathleen Goodson, Glen Road, Kelburn, has returned from an extended visit to Whangarei, Auckland, and Hamilton.

Miss Beth Hunter, Wellington, who has been spending some months in Sydney, is expected to return home in a fortnight’s time.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kenyon ' are Upper Hutt visitors to Hastings, where they are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley. Miss Jose Anderson, Wadestown, returned by the Mukura yesterday from a holiday spent in East Africa. Miss Lois Ollivier, Christchurch, who arrived from Australia yesterday, is staying at the Hotel St. George. Miss Doreen Watkins, New Plymouth, will sail from Wellington to-day by the Port Alma for England, where her marriage will take place. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Batchelor will leave New Zealand to-day by the R.M.S. Makura for a trip to the South Sea Islands. They expect to be away for about three months. Mr. L. A. Paish and Mrs. Paish arrived by the Makura yesterday, after spending a very enjoyable year travelling in America and England. Misses B. I. Anderson and A. M. Thomson, Palmerston North, have been spending several days on a visit by car to Wellington, Petone, and Lower Hutt. Miss Moira Dlgges-Smith, Wellington, left last night for Auckland, where she will 'be the guest of Miss Jean Kent for a few days before going to Papakiira to visit her aunt, Mrs. Agmen Smith.
