WINDSOR TO LONDON
Air Force Corporal Wins Marathon London, June 10. A member of the Air Force. Corporal Sam Ferris, won the Polytechnic Marathon from Windsor to London in 2 hours 42min. 0 l-ssec. This is his eighth victory in nine years. Corporal Ferris is one of Great Britain’s outstanding distance runners. He representetd Britain at the last Olympic Games, and has held the Royal Air Force cross-country running championship for many years.
