FUND NEARLY £5000
Big Christchurch Appeal By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, June 11. The business men’s committee’s relief appeal aiming to raise £25,000 has so far netted £4763. The City Council employees, after hearing an address by the mayor, agreed to contribute 3d. in the pound from their wages.
