SUCCESS IN AMERICA
New Zealand Scholar Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, June 9. News has been received by cable of the continued success in America of Mr. Strathmore Cooke, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Cooke, Thames, formerly of Wanganui. Following the winning of junior, senior, and travelling scholarships, Mr. Cooke won a research scholarship offered by Missouri. University. After bolding appointments there, and winning a fellowship, he is now Doctor of Philosophy in Metallurgy. Dr. Cooke is only 26 years of age.
