Results of Week-end Matches THREE SENIOR GAMES Ideal weather favoured the three senior matches staged by the Wellington Rugby League on Saturday afternoon. On the Winter Show ground, Celtic proved too fast for Petone, and won by a margin of 11 points. Koro Koro, showing good team work, outplayed City at Hutt Park by 10 points to 5, and Newtown got the better of Randwick on Crawford Green by 16 points to 5. Celtic in Form. There was little between the Celtic and Petone thirteens in the first spell, but the superior condition of the city team told its tale in the second session. McCask’ll and Shanahan crossed the line for Koro Koro, Scoringe converting one of the tries and kicking a penalty goal, while for City Purcell potted a goal, and O’Brien scored a try.
