American Open Golf JOHN GOODMAN’S TITLE (Received June 11, 6.30 p.m.) New York, June 10. At Glenview, John Goodman, an amateur, won the national open golf championship with a score of 287. Walter Hagen and T. D. Armour tied third with 292. J. H. Kirkwood tied seventh with 296. Goodman took the lead with a brilliant 66 under par, giving him 141 at the end of the second round. Armour was 143, Kirkwood 144. Hagen dropped back to 149.
