WOMEN’S DIVISION
Carterton Branch Meets The monthly meeting of the Carterton branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held in the Wairarapa Association A. and P rooms. Jlrs. K. Reid presided over a very good attendance of members. It was proposed that a meeting should be called to make arrangements for a ball. Two new members were welcomed and enrolled. At the conclusion of the meeting an interesting demonstration on the carding of wool and making of eiderdown quilts was given by Jlrs. Carter and Miss B. Carter. The hostesses, Jlesdames Maitland, V. Daysh and Fisher provided a dainty afternoon tea.
