CONTROL OF CROQUET

New Association Officers The fourteenth annual meeting of the Wellington Croquet Association was held yesterday, whel there was a full attendance of delegates and playeis. Jlrs. W. S. Austin, president .occupied the chair. The finances were shown to be in a sound position. It was decided that thelO3-l Wellington tournament should be held in the Hutt Valley. The Waimarie, Hutt, Woburn, Ngaroma, and Central clubs all offered their lawns for the event. The date decided upon was the one which had for some years been found the most suitable in the district, the second Tuesday in February. The following officers were elected :— Patrons, his Worship the Mayor, Mi. Hislop, and Mrs. Hislop: vice-patrons, Lady Luke, Mesdames Hendry, Troup. Mowtell, Fisher, D. McKenzie, Mitchell, Alex. Moore, McCurdy, JlcVjlly, Arcus. Izard, Hollard, E. Johnson, R. Leech, Gander, Andrews. R. Williams, Messrs. J. Pollocgk, A. Pollock, E. McKenzie, and W. Windsor Richards; president, Mrs. N. 8. Austin; vice-president, Mrs. R. Gardner; hon. secretary, Mrs. E. McKenzie; hon. treasurer, Jlrs. J. O’Donnell; referee, Jlrs. W. E. Caldow; handicapper, Jlrs. E. Boocock; hon. auditor, Mr. L. Powell; delegate to New Zealand Croquet Council, Jlrs. N. S.
