SPIVAKOVSKY-KURTZ TRIO
Next Thursday evening at the Town Hall the Spivakovsky-Kurtz trio of eminent musicians will give the first concert of their New Zealand tour. The trio, which has ’been playing in Europe for nearly two years, is at present attracting large audiences to the Sydney Town Hall, Commenting ou the first performance in that city, "The Sydney Morning Herald sa iU : —“An three are brilliant executants. They arc also fine and sincere musicians. Besides the surface glamour of glorious tone, superb agility and impeccable polish, they have that deeper charm which comes from thoughtful realisation of the composer’s ideas.” During the Wellington season it is expected that a proportion of new, or at least unfamiliar. music will be presented. The programmes will contain sonatas and solos, as well as ensembles.
