Dance at Palmerston A happy function was the dance recently. held by the Girls’ Music Club at Palmerston North in Miss Gwen Gibbs pretty studio. ’ The hostesses were Mrs’. R. a. Gaw, who wore black silk net, and Mrs. J.. K. Paton, in green angel-skin lace. The committee consisted of Misses A . Wood, peach pink chiffon velvet; B. Miller, floral taffeta; Valerie Gunter, floral ninon; G. Laurenson, black georgette and lace; Mavid Muirhead, lovebird green, Swiss embrodered georgette; F. Howley, white organdie; L; McDonald, blue angelskin lace; Elvira Wycherley, floral taffeta; Mavis Buchanan, black georgette and lace.
