FIRE AT LINTON
Farm Dwelling Destroyed Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North. May — Tlte six-roomed dwelling of Mr. B. A. ■iloodv, at Linton, was destroyed by lire at Jl‘ o’clock this morning. None oi the occupants was about at the time. Mr. Moody being engaged at the back «»f his farm property. M hen the outbreak was discovered by neighbours the ll.imes had secured a good hold, and nothing* could be done to save the contents. An artesian water supply was available, bur the heat of the Hames prevented helpers from approaching it. It i< iimlerxtood that the house was insured for £630. ami that the contents were ;ilso covered bv insurance.
