BURIAL OF HINKLER
Widow Too HI to Make Decision GOVERNMENT’S OFFER (Received May 1. 9.50 p.m.) Perth, May 1. Mrs. Hinkler arrived at Fremantle to-day, but she was too ill to make any decision with regard to the burial place of her husband. She received a telegram from the Commonwealth Government offering to bring her husband's body to Australia for burial wherever she desired, accompanied by fitting honours for a great airman. The widow has allowed the final decision to remain with Squadron-Leader Hinkler's mother, who also is in Western Australia. TEMPORARY BURIAL (Received May 1, 11.15 p.m.) Loudon, May 1. A Florence message states that the body of Squadron-Leader Hinkler was temporarily buried in the Protestant cemetery, there, pending a possible decision to send the body to Bundaberg.
